The most common type of window blinds is called in question. They consist of many horizontal slats, usually of metal or vinyl, that are linked to a string in a form that can be rotated to allow light to pass between the slats, rotated approximately 170 degrees so that the light is hidden, or stopped so that the entire window is clear. The rigid vertical blinds fabric, plastic or metal hanging by one hand with a song like the horizontal versions can be rotated 90 degrees to allow light to pass through or turn to one side of a door or window. There is a modern variant of the chains to lift the strings combined with the rotation slots on both edges of each slat.
Vertical blinds, horizontal blinds that is less likely to be damaged in windy conditions and hold dirt. Any movement of the blind mark a change in airflow, or that someone entered the door. Cellular shades are also known as honeycomb blinds.
